Alpha Packaging Recognized by The Packaging Portal

Earlier this month, Alpha Packaging was profiled on The Packaging Portal’s website, for our use of the EMBA FFG QS Ultima™ platform. Alpha showcases the benefits of using the EMBA platform. The FFG 245 QS Ultima includes an inline die cutter and ClearVision glue system, and can produce up to 500 high-quality boxes per minute. This has vastly helped our backbone accounts. With the non-crush technology, the EMBA platform has helped keep our name associated with the image of high-quality boxes.

Mike Stec says, “Alpha Packaging is equipped to handle any style box the sales force drags in. This Includes foam lined, triplewall, plastic corrugated, and other specialty products. The bread-and-butter base overhead accounts run mainly on two three color EMBA’s. The FFG 245 QS Ultima has an inline die cutter and ClearVision glue system. The new FFG 175 QS Ultima was installed last year and can produce up to 500 high quality boxes per minute. Both machines are considered hybrids because they run panel and blank sizes that competing FFGs cannot. We chose EMBA because of our experience with the reliability and performance of a used machine utilized during our startup phase.”

Celebrating the 2023 Pregis Renew™ Award

We are thrilled to share that Alpha Packaging, Inc. has been recognized with the Pregis Renew Award for our commitment to reducing carbon emissions. This honor reflects not only our efforts but the vital role of our valued customers in achieving this success.

Pregis Award

By providing customers with Pregis PolyPlank® Renew foam made with recycled content, we reduced 25 metric tons of carbon emissions in 2023.

Reducing 25 MT of carbon emissions is the environmental equivalent of1:

  • 1,086 trash bags of waste recycled instead of landfilled
  • 27,552 pounds of coal burned
  • 2,813 gallons of gasoline consumed
